However, if you are one of those who prefer a jolly dry Christmas, meaning alcohol free, then serving up a batch of pleasant mocktails will be the perfect way to quench the thirsty needs of your guests.

Just because you prefer the non-alcoholic way, does not mean your drinks of choice should be boring.
Below are a list of three easy-to-make mocktail recipes, which do not only taste great, but are sure to have your guests talking:
1. Mock Mojito
You will need lemonade and soda water.
Mix the lemonade and soda water according to your own personal taste.
Add ice, slices of lime or lemons and fresh mint.
Let it stand for about 10 minutes, and drink up.
2. Apple cranberry cooler
You will need a bottle of sparkling apple juice and 100 per cent cranberry juice.
Mix the two together and pour into a glass filled with crushed ice.
Serve and enjoy.
3. Virgin Bellini
You will need peach juice, soda water and lemonade.
Mix the contents together and voila, your very own alcohol-free Bellini.
4. Mango mule
You will need slices cucumber, honey or syrup, mango puree, fresh lime or lemon juice, ginger beer and ice.
Mix all ingredients together in a blender or shaker for at least 10 seconds before pouring into a tall glass.
Serve and enjoy.
