Get out of the Monday blues with our top five relaxing tips.

Monday is a day not many people look forward to facing.

However, there is not much we can do about it. As the day drags on, we all do our best to make it through, and just get home, put our feet up and relax.

We have compiled a list five ways of relaxing once you’ve made it through that dreaded Monday.

An ice cold glass of wine

Who does not enjoy the idea of rewarding yourself with a glass of wine or two, after a long day at work? After all, you made it through the day without landing yourself in an orange jumpsuit.

Read a book

Relax and enjoy a few pages of your favourite book. Nothing says relaxation more than escaping to an alter-universe for a few hours.

Have a bubble bath

Fill the bath tub with warm water, bubbles and light a few scented candles to create a relaxing environment. Top this off with a glass of wine and soft music, and you’re guaranteed to feel better.

Cook a decadent meal

Grab the cookbooks and get creative. A full belly always makes a person smile. So, what better way to feel relaxed that cooking your favourite meal? Family time around the dinner table also helps you forget about your long day, as you can just concentrate on what makes you happy.

Sleep

S the best thing to look forward to after a long Monday! Light a lavender scented candle before going to bed, and allow the relaxing aromas to sweep you off to dream land.
