Schalk Bezuidenhout’s comedy shows heats up the winter festival

FARMERS HALL – Popular Afrikaans comedian, Schalk Bezuidenhout, performed on Tuesday night at the Newcastle Show Grounds, kicking off the Newcastle Vesco Winter Festival.

As guests gathered in the VIP tent to enjoy Schalk’s hilarious sense of humour, the event was also dedicated to allow local business owners to socialise and network.

Adding to the night’s fun, guests were also introduced to craft beers, which were made available from brewers from as far as Wakkerstroom and Durban.

With the different craft beers tantalizing taste buds and Schalk’s show, a merry atmosphere prevailed, setting the pace for an enjoyable Winter Festival.
