#FreshTake: Spring into your best you

We all have an inner beautician within us, I feel. So I decided to share a few tried and trusted tips with you guys

Last week a friend and I had a chat and while he was seated in the waiting room at the doctor, out of concern I asked if everything was fine. Now when we first meet people the first thing we do is scan faces, so I understand the discomfort. So my friend left and later that day tried out a soap and sugar scrub I spoke about. Within a few days the rash had cleared up.

We all have an inner beautician within us, I feel. So I decided to share a few tried and trusted tips with you guys. I’m sure winter has left all our skin pretty damaged. An avocado mask always works wonders for me. You can simply mash it up and apply it on avoiding the areas around your eyes.

Once it dries up and begins flaking you can wash it off with warm water dabbing your face dry. Since the cold can really dry out your skin, it would be advisable to apply aqueous cream on thereafter.

I promise you’ll almost immediately feel the difference. Aqueous cream is also great for dry and sensitive skin.

You might have also struggled with chapped or flaky lips, for this I use toothpaste and sugar to create a scrub and to apply it on you can use a toothbrush. Give it a gentle scrub and rise using warm water.

Applying lip balm or Vaseline will also work. Invest in a hydrating lip balm; it’s a must-have for healthy lips.
