Fall in love with music this weekend

Music can change the world because it can change people

It was Bono who once said ‘Music can change the world because it can change people,’ and the Dundee Methodist Church is hoping to bring change through their music festival from 9am on March 10 at Battlefields Country Lodge.

This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better and will feature school choirs from Dundee High, Dundee Junior, Uelzen and Hamilton Preparatory School. There will also be performances from solo artists as well as a Marimba band. John Mulhatton will also be performing.

Families can participate in the family fun run/walk on a marked out route. If you’re looking for something to tickle your tastebuds, there will be plenty of food stalls selling a wide range of delicious treats.

You can find fresh produce, Indian cuisine, lamb spit, grills and braais, goats cheese, rusks and biscuits, biltong, Gloria Jean’s Coffee and many more.

If you’re looking for great gifts, there will be numerous arts and craft stalls, jewellery, Avon and Sh’zen as well as plenty of toys for the little ones.

There’s also a dedicated kids zone which will feature jumping castles, face painting and horse rides.
