Lights, camera aaaaaaaaaaaand action! Whether it’s the glitz and glamour of Tinsel Town, the mesmerising music of Hartiewood or the colorful creations of Bollywood, people have always been obsessed with the magic of movies.

March 2018 was an amazing month for movies, with some of the most anticipated movie releases making headlines, as well as 90th academy Awards being held on March 4, 2018.
However, today we wrap up on 2018 and roll out the red carpet of remembrance to look back at the March movie releases of yesteryear which still bring a smile to our faces or a few tears to our eyes.

In March 1990, Julia Roberts and Richard Gere captured our hearts with an unlikely love story which made everyone believe in fairytales again. When Pretty Woman was released in March of 1990, the movie broke records upon its release, and 28 years later it is still one of the most quotable movies of all time.

More recently, in March of 2012 Jennifer Lawrence had every young girl (and some boys) reaching for the bow and arrow to become the strongest tribute in the neighbourhood. Based on the book series by Suzanne Collins, Hunger Games was the first installment of the addictive movie franchise which pushed Jennifer Lawrence further into the limelight and the hearts of movie lovers all over the world.

In 1960, the world was introduced to a thrilling murder sequence which changed the course of the thriller movie genre forever. With one of the most iconic movie scenes of all times, Psycho remains one of the most popular thrillers to watch over Halloween.
