Try following the tips below to avoid a ice-cold winter electrical bill:
– Cook quick and easy dishes for one-pot meals.
– Fix leaking taps. By doing this, you will be sure to play a vital role in combating water and electrical wastage.
– Replace conventional outdoor lights with motion-sensor globes as they use less electricity.
– Switch to solar powered garden lights, as they use free energy from the sun.
– Set swimming pool pump’s running time to six hours and filter the water twice every 24 hours.
– Clean your pool’s filter at regular interval throughout the year, as a clean filter is key to better water flow.
– Switch off your geyser during the day.
– Unplug all electrical appliances, including the computer, coffee machine, television sets and entertainment consoles when they are not being used.
– Switch off your air-conditioners and heaters and opt for a warm blanket instead.
– Switch off all unnecessary lights.
– Switch off the water and power supply to water features and fountains in the garden.
