Luisa is our very own Ladysmith princess
She made many friends along the way and has also learnt a lot when it comes to pageants

34-year-old Ladysmith beauty Luisa Momberg has made the town proud by being named second princess at the annual Mrs KZN pageant which was held on Saturday in Durban. Not only that, but she also won the ‘Best Style Award’ and a ‘High Sponsorship Award’.
This is the first time Luisa has competed in something so huge; she used to compete in school beauty pageants.
This pageant was a charity initiative with the aim of raising funds and creating awareness for three charities in the Cape. Hence, this is a philanthropic pageant, as the focus is on “Inspiring Hope in the Heart of the Community”.

In an exclusive interview with our very own princess, Luisa told the Ladysmith Gazette that, at the end, there were seven finalists in the Mrs KZN category. Three of them would be queen, first princess and second princess.
Justine De Klerk from Ballito was crowned queen, and first princess was Colleen Wittrup from Durban.

“The ladies were friendly and absolutely amazing,” said Luisa.
She made many friends along the way and has also learnt a lot when it comes to pageants.
“The weather was hot, but the place was beautiful where the pageant took place.”
Luisa’s husband and two sons are extremely proud of her achievement.

“I would like to thank the community of Ladysmith for their support, as well as my family and friends, and all my sponsors. May God bless you all,” enthused Luisa.
Luisa would like the community to know that another charity pageant will be taking place this year. Watch the press for more details.
