All set for the Endumeni Winter Challenge

Over 115 children are expected to compete in the cycling event and in other sporting codes that include soccer, cricket, netball, boxing and chess.

One of the biggest sporting events in Northern KZN, the Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge at the Kallies Stadium, is ready to entertain this weekend.
Ash Khan, organiser, said that there is a lot of emphasis on cycling with KZN Cycling Development currently doing selections at schools. Over 115 children are expected to compete in the cycling event and in other sporting codes that include soccer, cricket, netball, boxing and chess.
Other entertainment includes a DJ competition, funland, stalls, inflatables, a horror tent and much more– come and see what it is all about.
The entry fee is R25 for adults and R15 for children. Armbands are available as well at R85 – the armband price includes entry fee, entry to the horror tent, unlimited rides on the funland and inflatables. Armbands are valid on Thursday, May 3, from 2pm to 8pm and on Friday, May 4, from 2pm to 5pm.
There will be no pass-outs available during the event so please carry warm clothes to the event.
Schools are urged to arrive on time at the stadium to receive all fixtures as games are commencing at 2pm sharp.
No persons will be allowed to carry alcohol, weapons or drugs to the event – if caught strict measures will be taken by the security. Law enforcement will be out in full force that weekend as this is a family fun event and get-together weekend. Let us have clean fun and keep memories of this event. Rights of admission will be reserved.
