Another blow for investors as office remains closed

Although a curtain was drawn across the window, it could be seen that there were some tables and chairs in the reception area but the large TV screen on the wall had disappeared.

There has been another blow for investors following the police raid  on the Forex Africa investment office on Tuesday night.

The One Vision office on Victoria Street is also closed this morning – the office offered investors healthy payouts for investments as small as R500.

When the Courier arrived at the office at around 8.30am people were already waiting outside as news spread that cellphones of those working there were being answered and a flat where some of the staff had been living had been vacated.

Although a curtain was drawn across the window, it could be seen that there were some tables and chairs in the reception area but the large TV screen on the wall had disappeared.

A visibly upset woman said she had invested around R32 000 – made up of various amounts she had persuaded her relatives to give to invest.

Attempts to call the cellphone numbers listed on the One Vision advert yielded no results.
