As wacky as the story is, we decided to add our own spin to it.

Man arrested for cheesy crime

A man has been charged for theft after he was spotted on CCTV cameras stuffing cheese down his pants. The man, who cannot be named as yet, said he thought it was a ‘gouda idea’ at the time.

He was arrested by police at his cottage on Tusser Lane. Police spokesperson, Constable Camembert, said that the man appeared composed in the store but melted once security guards questioned him.

“People need to brie on their best behavior,” Constable Camembert urged.

The Italian store owner, Mr Mozzarella, said it was not a grate way to start the day.
“Stealing is a crime. He should suffer a feta worse than death,” Mr Mozzarella could be heard shouting through the store.
“This is nacho cheese.”

The man will appear in the Cheddar Magistrates Court.
