BREAKING NEWS: Collision interrupts afternoon traffic on Ayliff Street

No one sustained any injuries, but ambulance services were present to treat the patients for shock.

Afternoon traffic came to a sudden halt after two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision at the corner of Ayliff and Murchison Streets earlier this afternoon (December 6).

Mervyn Williams of Atlas Towing Services who were among the first responders at the scene confirmed that no one sustained any injuries, but ambulance services were present to treat the patients for shock.

The accident scene has since been cleared and traffic is flowing as usual once again.

Motorists are urged to practice extreme caution when travelling in the CBD area.

The exact cause of the collision is not known at this stage and will remain subject to police investigation.
