Top 10 Thursday: Ten people I would like to meet
Who is on your top ten list of people you'd love to meet?

We all have a bucket list of people we would like to meet one day.
Given the opportunity, I would really like to meet a few celebrities who have made such a difference in other peoples lives and who are great at what they do.
Here is my ten list of ten people I would like to meet:
Oprah Winfrey:
An American media mogul and one of the richest people in the world, Oprah is an astonishing woman who has done a lot for people around her and even built a school for underprivileged young girls in Gauteng. She is famous for her television talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Bonang Matheba:
A businesswoman, a TV and radio personality with her own reality show. Queen B has also just recently launched her sparkling wine connoisseur called The Bonang MCC Brut Rosé. She has her own clothing line called Bonang by Bonang Matheba and is young, beautiful and successful.

Tyler Perry:
He has always been my old time favorite actor, especially in the Madea movies. He is an all-rounder who is a comedian, a film writer, a play writer, and an actor. According to Forbes List, Tyler Perry is one of the highest paid men in the entertainment industry.

Connie Ferguson:
Also known as ‘Karabo’ to many South Africans, she is a co-founder of Ferguson Films and has a few shows that she writes and directs with her husband Shona Ferguson. She starred in the local television series Generations for years. She currently acts in The Queen series on DSTV, Channel 161. Connie is also an ambassador for Clover on the Krush Goodness campaign.

Bartolo “Buddy” Valastro:
The cake boss who owns Carlos Bakery in New Jersey and has a reality show on DSTV’s TLC channel. I always watch his show and am amazed that he makes the most amazing cakes ever. Maybe he could teach me how to bake as he is the cake boss and has proven that to his customers and us viewers time and time again.

Mariah Carey:
My all-time favourite singer whose songs got me through my childhood days – yes I am an old soul. I would like to meet her and given the chance, I would ask her to sing me a few songs like Without You, Hero and One Sweet Day.

Morgan Freeman:
This American actor, film director, film narrator, and an actor who is exceptional in his craft and I think he somewhat reminds me of Nelson Mandela for some reason.

Trevor Noah:
Our local comedian and now a host of The Daily Show in the United States of America. Noah is proof that if you set your mind to it, you can easily accomplish all your dreams. He is not only a comedian, but he is also an author who has written a book called Born a Crime.

Sibahle Mtongana:
Better known as Siba, she hosts a cooking show on DSTV. Everyone who knows me knows that I love food and meeting her would be amazing maybe we could cook up a storm afterward.

Beyonce Knowles:
Who wouldn’t love to have a one-on-one with the multi-billionaire singer and songwriter who has also done some acting? I am always taken aback by her angelic melodic singing voice.
