Watch: ‘Here’s Another Story’ by Ladysmith High School learners
10 learners showcased their poetry, prose, monologues and dialogues from some of the world’s favourite stories, featuring The Joy Luck Club, Life of Pi and The Handmaid’s Tale
Ladysmith High School (LHS) hosted a school play on Tuesday and Wednesday last week (May 14 and 15).
This year’s play was called ‘Here’s Another Story’. The learners worked hard to bring the audience a unique ‘theatre-in-the-round’ experience (form of theatrical presentation in which the audience is seated in a circle around the stage) with a thrust stage (one that extends into the auditorium) rather than a typical stage play.
