“We saw a gap, in terms of how local talent lacks a platform and decided to put together this event, where Vryheid artists will get the opportunity to share the stage with great Maskandi music artists,
as a means to get their names out there,” explained Co-founder of entertainment company #Ayeye,
Tshepo Malebana.
The event will be a treat for Maskandi fans, and will feature artists such as Igcokama Elisha, Mroza and Imfez’emnyama.

“Our company is hoping to grow talent in Northern KwaZulu-Natal as a whole, and this is where we
are starting,” explained Malebana.

The company will use a portion of the proceeds to help one of the local performing artists, to record
an album.
