Homemade goods and treats leads to successful market day
The next market is scheduled to take place on November 2 - don't miss out!
A sunny Saturday morning on October 5 in Memel, welcomed entrepreneurs and visitors alike to the monthly Memel Mini Market.
The aroma of coffee on the brew, coupled with the tantalising smell of the keenly priced and freshly baked cakes and tarts assailed the senses, encouraged the visiting public to indulge themselves.

For those after a meal, delicious curry and rice was on offer as well.
Besides the usual array of food, Thea and Corné Pieters sold home-made sauces and Charlene Janse van Rensburg had a large variety of necklaces and scarves on offer.
The most intriguing items on offer were large metal badges which were affixed to wooden plaques, all of which were made by Piet Smuts.

Be sure to attend the next market scheduled for November 2, with another outing set for November 9 in support of a fundraiser event for Kameeldrift Children and the Memel Old Age Home.
