Get your child vaccinated during child health campaign

The National Department of Health will be conducting a nationwide integrated child health campaign with the first round starting from 12 to 30 September. The second round will take place between 31 October and 11 November. The following services will be rendered during the first round of the campaign:

The second round will take place between 31 October and 11   November.
The following services will be rendered during the first round of the campaign:
1. Measles vaccinations to prevent children from contracting measles for children from 6 to 59 months.
2. Mebendazole deworming tablet to prevent children from intestinal worm infections for children from 24 to 59 months.
3. Vitamin A supplement drops to assist in strengthening the immune system for children  from 12 to 59 months.
4. Nutritional screening (measuring the upper arm and assessing the swelling of the feet) to detect malnutrition in all children aged 6 to 59 months, and refer if necessary.
Polio vaccine drops will be given to all children from birth to 59 months during the second round of the campaign.
