Pedal Power: Mokwallo and Vredefort cyclists gears up for MTB/ BMX Summer Splash
Proudly sponsored by Krag Apie Gym and Koedoeslaagte, the championship aims to keep young people off the streets and away from drugs and harmful substances.
Cycling enthusiasts are gearing up for the Mokwallo/Vredefort Street2Street Cycling Championships, taking place on November 30, at the Mokwallo Multipurpose Sport Ground.
The action-packed day will kick off with the Ride4Education opening race, followed by age-category races for 10–15 years, 16–20 years, and 21 years and older, as well as a BMX Freestyle session. A medal and trophy ceremony is scheduled for after the event.
The event promises fun for the whole family, including a cycling display by the Big Rock Cycling School (Parys), lively local stage performances, and jumping castles to keep the kids entertained.
Local traders are invited to book stalls, while spectators are encouraged to bring along their cooler boxes and camping chairs.
Entry is free, but booking is essential. Contact Samson on 064 465 5470 or via email at samson.masilo@moov.life
