Injured girl identified after police’s appeal to public
The child, who required urgent care, has since regained consciousness and is receiving medical care.
Police on Monday confirmed that the young girl, found alone in Tumahole on November 29, has been identified, and her parents found.
According to Lieutenant General Thabo Covane, police officers from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit in Tumahole, Parys, were called to an area near Koloane Street after a passer-by discovered the child and alerted authorities.
The child, who required urgent care, has since regained consciousness and is receiving medical care.
