Group caught with box full of bank cards

A group of people were arrested with several bank cards in their possession on 30 October.

According to WO Peter Masooa of the police in Carletonville, the police were busy with a routine patrol at around 08:15. They spotted a suspicious car in the parking lot at Shoprite in Carletonville’s Extension 8.
The police drove towards the four men who were standing outside the vehicle. Although a search of the suspects proved fruitless, the police soon found a black school bag in the car. Inside was a brown box containing 70 TymeBank cards.
The police made the arrest when the men could not explain why they had the cards in their possession.
