Adele Louw from the Carletonville Herald reports that AngloGold Ashanti will sell its remaining South African assets, the biggest of which is Mponeng mine, to Harmony Gold.

The future of this mine, which employs work to many Merafong residents has been unsure since AGA announced its plan to get rid of its South African assets last year.
