Devastating effect for welfare organisations with Tekkie Tax postponal

One of the largest fundraising activities of Epilepsy SA, Tekkie Tax Day, has had to be postponed due to the Covid-19
lockdown. This is having a devastating effect on the local Epilepsy SA centre, and many other welfare organisations who depend on this money to help those who cannot help themselves, says the centre director, Gary Westwood.
Tekkie Tax supports over 250 organisations covering animal care, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, people with cancer and daycare centres.

The new date is now 31 July 2020, but the public is encouraged to support the beneficiary organisations, as the need
is now! To support Epilepsy SA Parys, call Hubre at 072 093 2862, and place an order for T-shirts (adults R100 and kiddies R80), stickers (R10), badges (R10) and laces (R40). Combos of all are available.

One thing people are missing during the lockdown is a hug! Tekkie Tax started a share a hug campaign with the goal of sharing a million hugs. People can join the campaign by going to the website https://tekkietax.org/?ref=61 and
sharing a Happy the Mascot personalised virtual hug for R20.
