Millions owed to NWU by NSFAS

The NWU released a statement on Wednesday 17 January emphasising that they have been doing everything in their power to resolve the issue of NSFAS payments.

The North-West University has finally managed to finalise an agreement with NSFAS today (Friday, 19 January) on the reconciliation of allowances of 23 386 NSFAS students for 2023.

The NWU though will make payment of these allowances from internal cash flow as NSFAS still owes the NWU an amount of R 480 million.
