Six of Parys High School’s learners participated in the SAHGCA Junior Regional Shooting Competition on May 1st and obtained the following positions.
* Leandri Schoeman – 2nd u/16 Pressure Air Rifle and SAHGCA Regional Colors for performance above 90%;
* Hennie Schoeman – 2nd u/16 Rimmfire pistol; 3rd IGRF 25m Precision (0/25); SAHGCA Regional colours;
* Ioan Hager – 3rd u/16 Air Rifle; SAHGCA Regional Colors;
* Carl Hager – SAHGCA Regional Colors;
* Miguel van Riet – 87,3%
* Maralie Stemmet – 86.2%
* WC Stemmet – 86.7% (Parys Primary)
Leandri and Hennie also participated in SAHGCA Bothaville’s Sports Regional Shooting (all ages) on April 20 with the following result.:
* Leandri Schoeman- 4th Air pistol; 4th Rimmfire pistol and 5th Open class handgun;
*Hennie Schoeman- 2nd IGRF 50m Precision; 3rd IGRF 25m Precision.
