Provincial Voters’ Roll: Here’s what you need to know
The closing date for objections is August 18.
The provisional voters’ roll for inspection is an important part of ensuring free and fair elections.
It allows prospective contestants and individuals to inspect the provisionally compiled voters’ roll and lodge an objection on three grounds
- if they believe there is a valid reason why a person’s name should
- or should not appear on the voters’ roll,
- or if any details are incorrect.

The closing date for objections is Tuesday, August 18.
Objections can only be lodged against the provisionally compiled voters’ roll available at IEC offices.
