SAPS Potchefstroom Women’s Forum colouring youth’s lives
The SAPS Potchefstroom Women's Forum, in conjunction with the Potchefstroom Community Policing Forum (CPF), recently initiated a colouring competition for schools to raise funds for Loula Fourie Primary School in Wilgeboom.
The prizegiving at the Potchefstroom police station on Thursday, 7 March, honoured top young artists who made the biggest impression with their colouring prowess. They had to colour in various police themed pictures.

The winners were Danelle Engelbrecht (age 4-6), Xiluba Ebeditse (age 8-10) and Resego Mosala (age 11-13).
Danelle is from Sonskynhoekie Kleuterskool, while Xiluba and Resego are from Saints Christian School.
The SAPS Potchefstroom Women’s Forum started in August 2023, aiming to improve social crime prevention and give back to communities in need.
This colouring competition is just one of the projects the Women’s Police Forum want to take on to make a difference in society.
SAPS Potchefstroom station commander, Brig. Steven Moodley was present at the prizegiving, and expressed his gratitude to all the roleplayers who made the project a massive success.
