A brother and sister have been granted the tremendous honour of attending the annual One Young World Summit this year. Dean and Mandy Benjamin will be going to Thailand, Bangkok from 18-21 November.
Mandy has been chosen as one of only 2 CA Programme delegates countrywide from the 71 nominations for 2015, while Dean, who ended up among the top 5 delegates at the Summit in 2014, will be attending by invitation as a returning ambassador. He will have an opportunity to share what he has achieved in the past year from a continuity perspective.
One Young World brings together the brightest young people from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections and develop solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues. It partners with 224 of the world’s leading companies, 70 of which are listed by Fortune 500 or FTSE 100. One Young World is therefore regarded as the best environment to develop future business leaders at all levels as both innovators and responsible global citizens.
Being selected as delegates means that you have been recognised for your philanthropic work experiences, initiatives and overall ambition to make a difference. Dean and Mandy are currently doing their CA Articles and are the children of Colin Benjamin of Mica Hardware.
