The Ikageng police have opened an inquest docket after a passer-by discovered the dead body of a man lying in the veld near Sonderwater last Friday morning.
Sgt. Kelebogile Trom says police were called to the scene at about 06:50 and, upon arrival, found the medical personnel already examining the body. ‘The man was lying on the side of the road next to a small tree facing upwards and covered with a blanket,’ reported Trom.
‘The ERMS personnel declared him dead and the body was transported to the forensic department for further examination.’
