The Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) Klerksdorp recently donated R50 000 to the Initiative for Dedicated Upliftment and Care centre (IDUC).

The Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) Klerksdorp recently donated R50 000 to the Initiative for Dedicated Upliftment and Care centre (IDUC).

According to the regional communications specialist, Caroline Nyahuye, IDUC, under the leadership of Santi Britz, is an organisation that supports rape survivors in Potchefstroom. ‘This donation will assist the organisation in purchasing gowns and sanitary items for rape survivors,’ she said.

Caroline says the CCBSA employees had also generously donated sanitary pack items they collected in honour of Women’s Month. ‘These included care items like toothpaste, sanitary pads, lotion, deodorants, soap that will bring some comfort to the victims whom this organisation assists.’
