Water outage this weekend due to maintenance

Areas that will be affected are Promosa, Mohadin; as well as Ikageng Extensions 07 and 11 because water levels at the reservoirs will be kept as low as possible.

On Saturday November 24, 2018 the municipality’s directorate technical services water and sanitation will be repairing an underground water pipe that is supplying Eerste Rantjie and Promosa reservoirs. Areas that will be affected are Promosa, Mohadin; as well as Ikageng Extensions 07 and 11 because water levels at the reservoirs will be kept as low as possible.

Whilst the municipality does not foresee a total water shut down, residents in the affected area are nevertheless warned that water pressure may be low, and are therefore as usual requested to use the resource sparingly. The works at the site will start at 06H00 and might take anything from 2 to 4 hours.

The municipality regrets the inconvenience that may be caused and will do its utmost to ensure as minimal disruption of civilian life as is possible.
