The Ikageng police are investigating a rape case after three suspects aged between 39 and 51 allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl in Ikageng, Ext.11.
The police arrested the trio on Wednesday.
According to the NW police spokesperson, Capt Aafje Botma, the mother (29) of the victim has also been arrested for being an accomplice to the rape.
“The four appeared before the Potchefstroom Magistrate’s court on Thursday. The case was postponed till next week, 11 April. They remanded in custody,” said Botma.
