The local municipality urges the public to be aware of criminal activities that may occur by people who allege to be conducting door-to-door tests on behalf of the Government.
According to Jeanette Tshite, the municipal spokesperson, there are people who claim they are from the Government, ER24, Netcare and other respective organisations, going to households, door to door testing people for the virus. “These are criminals using the pandemic to gain entry into homes to rob and steal. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM IN, ” she stated.
Mass communication is transferred through the media, by Dr Zweli Mkhize, the Minister of Health.
