Water to be interrupted temporarily

Water supply will be temporarily interrupted on Thursday, 10 December due to connection works that will be conducted.

The water supply will be interrupted from 08:00 to 17:00.

According to William Maphosa, the municipal spokesperson, the work will be carried out at the upgraded Ikageng pump station, number 7, to the 300 mm pump, which supplies water to the Ikageng Proper and Potch Industria areas. Consequently, those areas will be affected.

“The affected areas (Ikageng and Potch Industria) will continue to receive water during the interruption, but it will be at a lower pressure.”The municipality apologises for the inconveniences that may be caused.
