Although only 52.21% of the votes from yesterday’s municipal elections have been declared in the J.B Marks municipality. The Democratic Alliance are ahead having gained 38.85% of the vote so far. The ANC have thus far garnered 32.14% of the vote in the municipality. The IEC has said that it aims to have counted 90% of the votes by tonight. The VF plus has so far gained 21.09% of the vote followed by the EFF at 6.53% The Herald will continue to update our readers as more results come in.
