Thanks to their generous hearts, the Face of Potch, in conjunction with Rotary and 4U Community project, treated the elderly of five sub-economic housing complexes in the J.B. Marks municipality.
Janet Potgieter, the CEO of Janny Djan Academy and the organiser of Face of Potch, chose Jacaranda, Skemering, Uitkoms, Harmonie and Immergroen as their beneficiaries in this year’s competition. Entries were accompanied by non-perishable goods. Members of the DA provided a pot of soup on a cold winter morning and visited Jacaranda in Promosa while handing out the gifts from Face of Potch. The residents enjoyed the warm soup and warm hearts from all involved. The community wishes to thank Janny Djan Academy and all the entrants for opening their hearts to our senior citizens.
