Potchefstroom Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) hosted a special function on Thursday, 23 November at the NWU Sports Village to honour and thank all the animal lovers of Potch who contributed to PAWS in some form or another.

The success of PAWS lies in community involvement as well as the passion of staff and board members in ensuring that all the animals are cared for and can find their forever home.

During the event, an auction was also held where funds were raised for PAWS. There was not much convincing needed as bidders upped the stakes for valuable sport memorabilia knowing that they contributed to the needs of animals at PAWS.
