A motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries this morning (Tuesday, March 31) after a collision with a motor vehicle at the traffic intersection of Retief Street and Govan Mbeki Avenue.

This accident occurred at around 07:55 this morning. The driver of the motor vehicle sustained no injuries.

“ER24 treated the rider (25) at the scene before transporting him to the hospital for further care,” added ER24 spokesperson, Ineke van Huyssteen.

All other relevant authorities were also on the scene of accident.
