In celebration of Mandela Day the community and staff from Randburg SAPS decided to use their 67 minutes to clean up the station.

Warrant Officer Johannes Maja said, “I want to thank the representatives from Remax Randburg, Computer Facilities, DIY Depot Ferndale, Fresh Gardens and Boehringer Ingelheim that supplied food and helped with the clean up, without them the day would not have been such a big success.”

Randburg Police Station Commander Lettie Hugo said, “It’s not easy to keep such a large premises clean with the small amount of maintenance staff that we have. The community surprised me with their support on the day.”
