Fun at Randburg Bowls Club

The Randburg Bowls Club members got together at the club but not necessarily to play bowls.

The Randburg Bowls Club recently held its first Pamper Day organised by committee members Di Tollman and Louise Steen, a day that will now become an annual event.

The woman were treated to foot, neck, shoulder and hand massages. “This was all to make the woman feel relaxed before the upcoming league season,” said woman’s captain Sue Clark.

Acknowledgement was also given to national bowler Alan Gordon who was recently selected to represent the South African Bowls team against Namibia.

“I have had so much pleasure and benefit from this wonderful game that I am now trying to put back into bowls what it has given me,” explained Randburg Bowls Club President Laurie Stafford. He added it is a game for all ages and coaching is free, beginners and advanced players are welcome at the club.
