Soccer talent still seeks his goal
Resident is still looking for a first division team to play for.
Soccer player Paul Katulondi (22) is still looking for a contract with a first division team.
The striker who lives in Randpark Ridge and trains at the Randburg Sports Complex, played professionally in the Democratic Republic of the Congo before moving to South Africa and playing for second division team Beyonce FC.
His goal is to join a team in SA’s first division where he hopes to gain experience and enhance his reputation. After this he wants to move to Belgium and play there.
“The transfer window closed last Friday,” Katulondi said. “There were no bids made for me. I have since been looking for a new club in Cape Town.”
Katulondi is not signed to a club at the moment which means he can join a club at any time as a free agent not being bound to transfer deadlines.
He is currently organising trials with different clubs in Cape Town such as first division team Milano FC.
Katulondi also has aspirations off the field. He is a model having done fashion shows and TV advertisements.
He has also studied tourism development at the University of Johannesburg and may continue his studies later in the year.
