WINDSOR WEST – Olive Tree Ministeries International organised a clean up of the Windsor West Recreation Centre and on Knights Avenue on Mandela Day, 18 July.

Residents bonded while cleaning up rubbish in the dirty, dusty and ash-ridden area.

“There is a lot of grime and dirt in our parks where criminal elements are hanging out,” said Sharon Peters, who is founder of Olive Tree Ministries International.

“Drugs are also sold and used in these parks. We want to clean and re-claim our parks so that children will be able to play again in it as was the original intention,”
