An elderly man from Durban has gone missing in North Riding at approximately 11am on Bellairs Drive.
The Indian man, Armichand Rai (77), also known as Raymond, has dementia and does not know the area at all.
“He was last seen, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and dark blue denims with black and white takkies,” said Douglasdale Police Officer Sean Gouws.

“We have had the SAPS, security companies and the Neighbourhood Watch searching yesterday and today,” added Gouws. “We mobilised the residents from Sector 1 last night with the help of the 4 x 4 Rescue Club who searched the area in a 10km radius during the course of last night till this morning and still have not found him.”
