Join the cultural showcase of shopping, live entertainment and Indian cuisine at Gold Reef City on 11 October to celebrate the Festival of Light. Musical genres will include, Bollywood, Kollywood, chutney, bhangra, ghazal, maharashtrian, benhali and above all devotional music. Expect spectacular fireworks display.

Rhythm Sundays Pop-Up Craft Beer Bar
The Rosebank Market’s Pop-up Craft Beer Bar and the talented acoustic line-up are back at the Rosebank Sunday Market on 12 October.
They will be hosting a range of craft beers, gourmet food and local live talent on the Rosebank Mall rooftop. The idea is to get a beer and browse around the market while being entertained. Line-up: Rubber Duc, Pacawa and Don’t Poke The Bear.
UJ Art and Culture presents ‘Thatso Funny’
Join a variety of comedians at Kingsway Campus on 10 October at 7.30pm for an evening of epic comedy hosted by Nina Hastie in aid of the UJ555 campaign. This event features a variety of comedic acts with the likes of Mashabela Galane, Kagiso Lediga, Joey Rasdien and Chester Missing. 555 is UJ’s student aid campaign aimed at raising funds and gifts-in-kind to support students with class fees, text books and food.
