Three plane crash victims escape with minor injuries
LANSERIA - Three injured after plane crash
Three people are receiving medical attention from Johannesburg hospitals after escaping with minor injuries following a plane crash at Lanseria Airport on 13 December.
The patients are said to be two pilots and one passenger, according to the airport spokesperson Claudette Vianello. She said in meantime speculation reports indicated that the plane took off from the airport and then returned and crashed.

“I confirm a small Falcon 402 aircraft with three members on board took off from Lanseria and thereafter turned in the air and crashed,” Vianello said.
According to Netcare911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe, the three people sustained burns and traumatic injuries after the landing.
“Netcare911 paramedics treated two of the men on scene before transporting them to a level1 trauma burns facility in Johannesburg for further medical care and the third man was treated by paramedics from another emergency service on scene before being transported to hospital,” Mathe explained, adding that reports from the scene indicated that the aircraft burst into flames after the landing.
