Woman held at gunpoint at work

ALLEN'S NEK - Police said she was about to leave work when she was held up at gunpoint.

A woman was held up at Somerset Office Park in Kudu Street, Allen’s Nek yesterday.
At around 6.30pm, the woman, who was about to leave from work, was confronted by three suspects, two armed with pistols, police spokesperson Captain Lydia Mtila-Dikolomela said.
“It is alleged that they kept on asking for the safe and she said she did not know, ” she said.
Mtila-Dikolomela said the woman was tied up and her laptop, cellphone and purse taken.

Some of the doors were broken to gain access to other offices, she added.

No arrests were yet made but the business robbery is being investigated  by Honeydew Police.
