Trinityhouse celebrates International Music Day

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Preparatory Randpark Ridge celebrates the beauty of music.

Trinityhouse Preparatory Randpark Ridge  recently celebrated International Music Day with various instruments to tune into the fun.

Robyn Aingworth, the school’s marketing officer, said the children enjoyed music in the classroom.

“They learned to play several instruments. These types of activities afford them the opportunity to collaborate with others in music making, while increasing memory skills as well as their coordination,” said Aingworth.

On the day, the children played instruments such as the guitar, recorder, marimba and the violin along with many others.

Along with the array of musical tunes brought to life by the children, the choir section combined excellently with the marimba and djembe groups.

“The benefits of learning to play a musical instrument or to sing can be seen beyond the classroom and brings great joy to many. Music is enjoyed and loved by all pupils, giving them a sense of achievement when mastering even the smallest goal.”
