The Honeydew Police Station arrested 72 suspects for various crimes in a week of operations from 30 October to 6 November.
This is the start of the festive season operations where random roadblocks, as well as stop-and-searches, were conducted.
The suspects were arrested for crimes such as possession of drugs, common assault, domestic violence, attempted murder, rape, theft, arson and drunken driving.
Police spokesperson captain Balan Muthan said the festive season operations are ongoing to keep the community safe.
