AK-47 fired during house robbery in Allens Nek

Police are still searching for suspects after house robbery.

 

Honeydew police are still investigating a case of house robbery that took place in Allens Nek last week.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan the suspects are four males driving a silver/grey Toyota Hilux.

One of the suspects was armed with an AK-47 and was standing at the gate of the house.

“Three of the suspects entered the house and found the domestic worker and a 17-year-old boy. The suspects took a TV and camera from the home before escaping the scene,” said Muthan.

The suspect who was standing guard at the gate, fired shots at the house while making their getaway.

Police were called to the scene and found that no one was injured.
