The Little Field Mouse Market pop-up store will have a table at Randridge Mall until the 23 February.
Located at Shop 240, the table has squares of cloth, fabric paint and markers which are used to make a Hopeez blanket. Hopeez is an initiative led by the Randridge Mall’s Cansa Shavathon as well as various sponsors.
The squares cost R10 and residents can paint their hands to make a handprint on the cloth and write a message of hope for young cancer patients.
The squares are sewn together to make a Hopeez blanket which will be donated to the youngsters, giving them hope when they are in hospital and away from family and friends.
This is part of the mall’s 10th annual Cansa Shavathon, which will be held on 24 February.

The Shavathon, which is in its 14th year nationally, is one of the biggest events the mall hosts. This year, the theme is Hope and the mall promises a bigger and better Shavathon that will touch the hearts of many.
The pop-up store is for those in the community who want to support the cause but are unable to make it to the actual Shavathon.
Hands of Hope will collect the messages from the pop-up. On the day of the Shavathon, the table will move to the Hands of Hope station and the completed blankets will there for the community to see.
