Father’s Day celebrations

RANDPARK RIDGE – A chance to bond with daddy.

Dads and their little ones spent some quality time together ahead of Father’s Day.

Fathers were invited to spend some time with their children at Wendy’s Play and Pre-School on Friday 15 June to celebrate Father’s Day which took place Sunday 17 June. This was a fun way for fathers to bond with their children and just have a good time together.

School principal Katie Sloan was pleased that all of the fathers were able to take time off work to attend the event. “We like to spoil our father’s on Father’s Day and let them know how important they are.

“The fathers were invited into the classrooms, ordered some boerewors rolls and we also had a lucky draw thanks to sponsorship from the community. The fathers also had a chance to do some artwork with their children. It was awesome to see that every father and even grandfathers were present and no child was left sitting alone. It is very important to give lots of notice because the dads do work,” said Sloan.
